Hair loss can be triggered by the release of cortisol (the stress hormone), which pushes hair follicles into the resting (telogen) phase and leaves them unable to produce new strands (this type of hair loss is commonly known as telogen effluvium). The good news is that stress-related hair loss is usually fully reversible, but it’s also a reminder of how our mental and physical wellbeing is interconnected - the reason we create products for total holistic health.

Wherever possible we use organic ingredients - not only because organic foods are proven to be more nutrient-rich, but also because we want to support sustainable farming and clean soil worldwide.
PLANET
SUPA_THICK SHAMPOO and CONDITIONER both come in a bottle made with 30% PCR plastic (post-consumer recycled plastic), and can go on to be recycled again. We recommend removing the pump prior to recycling - this currently isn’t able to be recycled in household waste streams - but can be sent back to us and recycled in-house. SUPA_THICK is housed in a recyclable bottle, and GROWTH PHASE is housed in an infinitely recyclable amber glass jar. Both are printed with non-toxic, ceramic ink, and come in paper boxes made using 30% post-consumer recycled paper.
